CCCF is pleased to be a part of this exciting new project. Our involvement as a partner is to ensure the voice and experience of front line ECEs is heard and supported with the development of new leadership and mentoring opportunities as well as in the collection of labour market information and the revision of the National Occupational Standards for ECEs. As the project gets underway, we will reach out to our affiliates and relevant partners with opportunities to be involved in advancing and sharing this important work.
The initiative will update the National Occupational Standards, improve labour market information, and modernize workforce tools to better reflect the evolving realities of ECEs. Together, these efforts will support career growth, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, helping more educators build long-term careers in the sector and support a strong, high-quality early learning and child care system.
